Saint Thomas Heart Interventional Cardiology Opportunity

*The Saint Thomas Heart Group in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a talented and ambitious cardiologist to join our nationally recognized program. This physician will be fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology, possess a strong work ethic, be a team player, and serve as an ambassador for Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line. Our heart center includes over 60 physicians serving a large regional referral network.* The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology with possible specialized interests in CHIP, CTO, PERT and shock management. This position requires rounding, call and outreach at least one day per week.

Saint Thomas West Hospital

Saint Thomas West Hospital is a high-volume tertiary referral center for comprehensive heart care in Nashville, Tennessee. Our heart center is a regional/national reference center for cardiac valve surgery, transcatheter structural/valvular interventions, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, aortic surgery, cardiac transplantation, LVAD, ECMO, and complex coronary bypass procedures. The interventional cardiology program includes 8 catheterization laboratories, vascular suites, and 2 hybrid ORs. In 2018, Saint Thomas physicians will perform over 8,000 cardiac catheterizations and 3,500 coronary interventions.* In addition, there are multiple ongoing clinical trials and opportunities for continued research development through the Saint Thomas Research Institute.

*Requirements

BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology

Experience in shock management and CHIP/CTO are desirable

Strong work ethic and team player

Serve as an ambassador for Saint Thomas Heart and the Cardiovascular Service Line
