Excellent Full-Time Cardiology Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (Fairfield County, 60 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join our established and busy employed practice in Danbury, Connecticut, in 2022.  We are located in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes thirteen cardiologists and six APRNs and excellent support staff. Danbury Hospital’s Emergency Department is an accredited Level II Trauma Center, a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. Cardiac services at the hospital include Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Arrhythmia Center. Our Cardiac Surgery Program includes TAVR. 

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Applicants with sub-specialty training/interest are welcome. The position includes inpatient work at Danbury Hospital and outpatient office services in our main office in the Medical Arts Building next to the hospital campus. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other offices in surrounding towns. The position includes teaching rotations with our Cardiology Fellows at Danbury Hospital.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.
