Excellent Full-time Cardiology Opening – Norwalk, Connecticut – One Hour from New York City
Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a fourth full-time, clinical cardiologist interested in both inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiology, to join our busy and growing employed practice at Norwalk Hospital. We are located in Norwalk, Connecticut in Fairfield County, just 50 miles outside of New York City. The practice also includes APRN support. Norwalk Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is accredited as a Stroke Center and certified to provide Emergency Angioplasty for heart attack.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 150+ advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
