HCA Florida is seeking a GME Program Director for their Cardiology program in Plantation, FL.

Qualified Candidates:
Board Certified in Cardiology
Excellent communication skills,  Spanish speaking is a plus
Minimum of 4 years clinical experience post residency/fellowship
Minimum of 2 years of experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director of an ACGME-accredited IM or cardiology program is preferred
3 years of relevant (education related) leadership positions at an academic medical center or healthcare facility can serve as surrogate
Active involvement in scholarship/research over the past 5 years (projects, presentations, publications, academic society membership/leadership) is strongly preferred 
Desire to develop a new, high-quality cardiology fellowship program
20-30 % GME administration time/ 70-80% patient care
Will consider sub-specialized Cardiology candidates
