The Providence Heart Institute in Oregon has an immediate practice opportunity for a full-time Cardiologist, either invasive or non-invasive. Primary clinical responsibilities will be on the Providence Newberg Medical Center campus, 25 miles south of Portland, in beautiful Oregon wine country. Additional clinical opportunities and responsibilities will be on Portland’s Providence St. Vincent Medical Center campus. Providence Newberg Medical Center is a high-tech facility whose "green" design made it the first hospital in the nation to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. There is a cath lab on site, as well as echo, TEE, treadmill and nuclear camera. The cardiologist will join two other Providence Heart Institute cardiologists in Newberg and be part of the bigger practice group serving the Portland metro area.

Where You’ll Work

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” designation for coronary artery disease care.
