Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in partnership with Northwest Florida Heart Institute is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon as a replacement to fill a recent vacancy in their team.

Ideal candidate:

• Cardiothoracic training in heart, lung, and major vascular.
• Training in arrhythmia surgery, TAVR, or heart failure medicine not required but a plus.
• The practice is willing to consider either an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon or would be willing to mentor an exceptional cardiovascular surgical fellow coming out of training.
• ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Group Practice and Hospital Specifics:

• Well-established, single specialty group, in practice for over 12 years, consisting of 1 MD at full capacity, 2 ARNPs and 1 PA.
• Call arrangement at medical center is 1:2 with new surgeon.
• Practice is within walking distance from the hospital, conveniently located behind the medical center.
