A special opportunity for a Cardiovascular Transplant Surgeon to join an existing transplant program in Largo Florida.

Largo Medical Center is a teaching hospital with a rapidly growing transplant program. We are looking to hire a second heart and lung transplant surgeon to join this exceptional team. This opportunity would be for about 50% cardiac surgery and 50% transplant surgery. We are hiring two dedicated procurement surgeons and will be starting the lung transplant program about 1 year from now.
The ideal candidate will:
• BC/BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Perform both Cardiothoracic and Transplant Surgery
• Have a verifiable track record of quality and/or exceptional training
• ECMO and mechanical circulatory support experience is a plus.
• Good communication and team building skill set.
