Cardiac Surgeon – Nuvance Health – Suburban NYC opportunity in the Hudson Valley in New York and Western Connecticut

Nuvance Health, a 7 hospital system in the Hudson Valley of New York State and in Western Connecticut (Fairfield County),  has an excellent opportunity for a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its growing Heart and Vascular Institute. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team with a growing case volume. The employed practice consists of cardiothoracic surgeons and a dedicated team of allied health professionals, including 24/7/365 in-house PA coverage. The program performs the full range of cardiac services, including CABG, valve repair, advanced aortic surgery, ECMO/TAVR/TEER and procedures for atrial fibrillation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of post-fellowship experience. Experience/interest in structural heart procedures and mechanical circulatory support is a plus. Excellent people-skills and a strong desire and ability to function within a cohesive team is a must.
