Texas Tech University Health Science Center - El Paso and Tenet Healthcare are collaborating in an exciting opportunity to establish a new, 130 bed teaching hospital and 110,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building in west El Paso.  As part of this collaboration, TTUHSC EP is establishing a number of new Departments and residency programs with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine based at the Transmountain Campus. 

The successful candidate in this position will be employed by TTUHSC EP at an academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher commensurate with qualifications, and will be a key participant in the process of establishing a new residency program in Internal Medicine.  The candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care, assists in curriculum development, supervise residents and provide teaching experiences for medical students from the PLFSOM.  The candidate will participate in committees, research and / or scholarly activities within the Department, Medical School and University. 

There are opportunities for leadership roles for the Department and the new residency program for individuals with the appropriate qualifications and experience. The position requires a M.D/D.O degree; completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care, and qualifications to support an apportionment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
