Are you a dynamic and experienced physician who aims to transition into a leadership role? If so, TeamHealth needs you to join our team as an assistant medical director at Parkwest Medical Center emergency department (ED). 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to practice clinically while collaborating with the medical director to oversee the daily clinical operations of the department. Candidates must be residency trained in emergency medicine (EM), family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with extensive EM experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to medical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to emergency medicine
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of medical personnel within the department
• Play a key role in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Act as a liaison between the medical staff and administrative leadership
