TeamHealth has an excellent leadership opportunity as Medical Director for our Emergency Department Team at Banner Payson Regional Medical Center in Payson, Arizona. The Emergency Center provides great ancillary services and specialty back-up for this 10-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 15K. The nursing staff is experienced and well trained in Emergency Medicine. We offer a high compensation package that includes an administrative director stipend, and we provide paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage. The ideal candidate will have previous Emergency Department management and leadership experience along with excellent communication and supervisory skills. The Medical Director’s time will be divided between clinical and administrative duties. We ask that you have expertise in regulations and regulatory compliance as well as a strong clinical knowledge base. American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is required.
