TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our emergency department team at Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow, California. This 30-bed hospital has an annual volume of 35,000 with a 20-bed ED. At Barstow Community Hospital we offer 24-hour daily advanced practice clinician coverage, a fast track ED with Hospitalist program in place, and a patient admittance rate of 10%. Other services offered include general back-up, EMR MedHost, bedside Ultrasound in the ED, helicopter service, as well as EMS base station. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. We encourage candidates that are board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery with at least two years of Emergency Medicine experience to apply.
