This Level II trauma center offers great ancillary services and specialty back-up for a 42-bed ED with an annual volume of 55,000. The nursing staff is experience and well trained in emergency medicine. The ideal candidate will have previous ED management and leadership experience, while also having excellent communication and supervisory skills. The medical director’s time will be divided between clinical and administrative duties. The right candidate should have expertise in regulations and regulatory compliance as well as a strong clinical knowledge base. Certifications needed for the job include board certification in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
