Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time ABEM/ABOEM BC/BP Emergency Physician for Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. Work in a high performing emergency department in a very nice community hospital located within 60 minutes of NYC by train and car. Norwalk Hospital is a Level II trauma center with excellent major specialty backup and collegial consultants. We pride ourselves on our culture of excellence and being innovators in emergency medicine in Connecticut. We have an exceptional and responsive nursing staff and very humane templated schedule of 10 hour day shifts (currently overnights are covered but not guaranteed), with 20 hours of MLP coverage. Night shift position is also available with generous differential. Scribes are in use for documentation on the Cerner EMR. Wait times for patients are better than best practice of 30 minutes with very limited boarders. The quality of life and surrounding communities are exceptional.

Job Summary:
Provide a variety of clinical medical services to patients presenting to the Hospital's emergency department, including evaluation and management.
Job Requirements:
- ABEM/ABOEM with CT State and Federal Narcotic Use Registration (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
- Willingness to full-time, flexible daytime 10 hour shifts. Currently overnights are covered but not guaranteed.
- Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required with the ability to work effectively with staff nurses and emergency department support staff.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) skills are helpful.
