The Emergency Medicine team at Waterford Lakes Freestanding ED focuses on delivering the highest standards of care to the patients and community. TeamHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our practice and work in this new freestanding Emergency Department located approximately 20 minutes east of downtown Orlando. To practice at this site, you must be board certified in Emergency Medicine. Enjoy practicing in this new, state-of-the-art facility that is staffed 24/7 with physician staffing and 12 hours of APC staffing. Within the 15 EDs of the AdventHealth system in Orlando, our physician group manages our one call transfer center, along with one of the largest national inter-hospital EMS systems. Our EDs provide excellent specialty backup, only transferring outside of our multi-system trauma and extensive burns to our local level 1 trauma center. Our physician group at AdventHealth Waterford Lakes utilizes a customized EMR version of Cerner and scribes are provided to all physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
