Provide safe, high-quality patient care as a full-time emergency physician on our team at Capital Regional Medical Center's freestanding emergency department (ED) located in Tallahassee, Florida. Candidates should be board-certified and board-specialized in emergency medicine, family medicine or internal medicine. Candidates should have significant emergency medicine experience or ABEM/AOBEM. Gadsden ER receives an annual volume of 15,000 and has a medium acuity level. Meditech is the EMR. Daily physician coverage is two 12 hour shifts daily; 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Daily advanced practice clinician coverage is 8 hours per day. Advanced practice clinican hours are 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. This 12-bed, freestanding facility is staffed by experienced emergency room physicians as well as nurses and technicians highly trained in providing emergency care. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, lab services and radiology including x-ray and CT. Immediate healthcare needs are met on-site, without sacrificing access to appropriate care.
