Emergency Department Profile

• 24,000 Annual Volume
• 24 hours of daily physician coverage
• 12-hour shifts (6-6)
• 16 hours of APP coverage
• EMR Meditech Dragon compatibility
• Level IV Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Physician Requirements: BE/BC Emergency Medicine. ATLS is required

Providence Medical Center provides an extensive array of diagnostic and treatment services including emergency services, general surgery, heart and vascular care, Spine Center, Joint Center, maternity and women's services and an accredited Sleep Disorders Center. Also located on campus are Providence Place, a skilled and rehabilitative care center, Select Specialty Hospital, the Doctors Building and the Providence Saint John Foundation. Providence is affiliated with Saint John Hospital, Leavenworth, Kansas. and the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System.
