TeamHealth has an excellent leadership opportunity for a full-time physician to lead our emergency department team at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris, Kentucky. Bourbon Community is a Duke LifePoint Quality Affiliate dedicated to transforming its culture of safety and providing the highest quality care. This ED has 9 beds, an annual volume of 13,000 and an 18% admission rate. In addition, there are 24 hours of physician coverage, 12-hour shifts, and a low patient per hour rate of 1.5 patients of low acuity. The EMR is MedHost and the facility is home to a supportive nursing staff and an integrated hospital medicine program. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, or board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are also required.
