Our Special Operations team is an elite group of physicians who seek the challenge of practicing in various emergency department settings while exploring locations throughout the Southeast when not practicing in the ED. TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join this elite group and become a part of the Special Operations emergency medicine team. As a TeamHealth Special Operations physician, you’d work at multiple locations in the Southeast, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. You are guaranteed 120 hours per month in this independent contractor role and work at selected emergency departments. TeamHealth will obtain additional licenses and DEA’s for designated states, if needed. To join this select group, you must be board certified or prepared in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) and emergency medicine residency trained. You must be adaptive, possess excellent communication skills and maintain a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the willingness to travel is a must for this position!
