Join a group of nine physicians who transitioned in 2007 from long-term hospital employees to private practice. The 13 bed ED has an annual patient volume of 18-20k, staffed with 36 hours of physician coverage. Physician shifts are 9 hours in length. Full-time physicians receive an hourly rate plus health and disability insurance, CME/expense account, 401k retirement plan participation, malpractice insurance, and shareholder opportunity at two years with no buy-in. Part-time physicians receive hourly rate and malpractice insurance.
The Level III ED is part of a 146-bed community hospital. It serves as a regional referral center for Women and Children with Pediatrics, PICU, NICU, and OB/GYN services. A new Ronald McDonald House has opened on the hospital campus. The Rehabilitation Institute of Montana is housed at the hospital, as well as The Montana Heart Center, a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab. A new Oncology Center has recently opened. Other services include 24/7 Hospitalist and Pediatric Hospitalist programs, radiology with PACS, an orthopedics unit, and the majority of specialty backup.
