The FMD serves as the clinical and operational leader of the ED, partnering with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and physician teams to ensure exceptional patient care, quality outcomes, and departmental performance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the emergency department
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and patient-centered care
• Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice clinicians
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic planning, operational goals, and resource management
• Monitor departmental metrics, including patient experience, throughput, productivity, and clinical outcomes
• Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary of $205 to $215 hourly.
