Opportunity for a Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team full-time at Virtua Camden in Camden, New Jersey. This satellite ED has basic lab and radiology studies available on-site, as well as a 16-slice CT scanner, portable ultrasound and slit lamp. Admissions are transferred to another facility within the Virtua system. There is moderate acuity in the form of CHF, hypertension and diabetes. Typical presentations are colds, flu, pneumonia, non-compliant diabetics, STD's, asthmatics and drug overdose. APCs see all cases and are very experienced. This SED is capable of performing all ED treatments (chest trays, RSI, glideoscope). Daily patient volume is approximately 100. Some teaching is provided in the form of dental and podiatry residents, as well as PA and NP students.
