Job Description

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a locally owned, not-for-profit organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our integrated healthcare system includes eight hospitals in seven New Mexico communities, a medical group, multi-specialty clinics and a health plan. The Presbyterian Medical Group employs more than 700 primary care and specialty providers.  We have been proudly providing care to New Mexicans since 1908.  

Presbyterian Healthcare Services located in Albuquerque, NM is seeking Emergency Medicine trained physicians to join the existing group of 40+ physicians.

  • This is an employed opportunity with Presbyterian Medical Group, part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. 
  • The  group covers three Presbyterian Hospitals in Albuquerque including Presbyterian Hospital, Kaseman Hospital and Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho. 
  • The hospitals have 70,000, 40,000 and 25,000 ED visits per year, respectively.
  • Our group is comprised of 40+ physicians, 12 mid-levels and a full complement of additional support staff.   Navigators triage non emergent patients to our lean track, triages or make next day appointments for those not needing immediate care, focusing our attention towards the more seriously ill patients.  We have 24 x 7 hospitalists admitting ED patients.
