Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-volume, fully equipped freestanding Emergency Department in Albany, NY.
This 24/7 facility offers comprehensive emergency care with modern diagnostic tools, onsite lab and imaging, and remote radiology reads.
The role includes flexible scheduling, continuity of care through system-wide cross-credentialing, and an outstanding clinical environment for dedicated EM providers.

Responsibilities
ED Volume: 42,000 annual visits
EMR: Epic
Facility: Full-service freestanding ED with advanced diagnostics
Cross-Credentialing: Available within a larger integrated health system
Shift Structure: 8–9 hour shifts; shift maps available upon request
Transfer Rate: 9–10%
24/7 Radiology reads available
J-1 Visa Sponsorship Available
Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Emergency Medicine
Open to Residents and Fellows
Open to Visa Candidates
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician New York state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Emergency Medicine Physician
One year of EMR experience

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
