TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as medical director at The Bellevue Hospital in Bellevue, Ohio. This is a unique opportunity to lead a collaborative emergency department team while continuing clinical practice.
This independent contractor position offers a competitive hourly rate, a separate administrative stipend for medical director responsibilities, and potential bonus opportunities. Current ABEM/AOBEM certification and prior leadership experience are preferred for this role.
The Bellevue Hospital- Annual ED Volume: 14,000
- ED beds: 11
- Acuity: Medium, 12% admission rate
- Coverage: 24 hours, plus 9 hours of APC coverage
- Shifts: 12 hours
- Employee: Independent Contractor (1099)
- EMR: MEDITECH Expanse with Dragon and Cleo
