Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite

Salary: $200/hr (W2) – $240/hr (1099)

Position Overview:

  • Recruiting Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-functioning, freestanding Emergency Department in Glenpool, OK.

  • This site delivers high-quality emergency care to a growing suburban population just 15 minutes south of Tulsa.

  • The center is staffed exclusively by board-certified EM physicians and supported with modern diagnostics and on-site lab access.

Responsibilities
  • ED Volume: 19,000 annual visits

  • Beds: 13 treatment rooms, including 1 trauma room and 1 psych-safe room

  • Admission Rate: 14%

  • Staffing Model: 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage + APP support afternoons/evenings

  • EMR: Epic

  • 24-hour on-site lab

  • On-site imaging: X-ray and CT

  • Board-Certified EM physician-only model

  • J-1 Visa Sponsorship & H1B Cap Exempt Available

Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Emergency Medicine

  • Open to Residents and Fellows

  • Open to Visa Candidates

  • ​​​Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)

  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • Active unencumbered physician Oklahoma state license

  • Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program

  • One year of work experience as Emergency Medicine Physician

  • One year of EMR experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:

  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

Benefits
  • Base Compensation: $200/hr (W2) – $240/hr (1099)
