The hospital is a fully accredited, not-for-profit, 45-bed acute care hospital located in Coaldale, Pennsylvania in Schuylkill County. It boasts a new state of the art 10-bed Emergency Department and is on pace to treat more than 18,000 patients per year and is the first certified Level IV Trauma Center in Pennsylvania. The ED physicians are scheduled for 12 hour shifts and are supported by state of the art radiology equipment including our GE 64 Slice CT Scanner, 3D-Ultrasound, Digital Mammography and a GE 1.5 Tesla Magnet MRI.
