Starr Regional Medical Center is a 190-bed acute care facility with campuses in Etowah and Athens. The Etowah campus serves the area of McMinn, Monroe, Polk and Meigs counties with a 24/7 Emergency Department, Senior Care Unit, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Services. The Etowah campus also has an 88-bed skilled and long-term care nursing home, McMinn Memorial Nursing Home and Rehab Center, as well as a wound care center, geriatric psychiatric unit and other services.
