Envision Physician Services is currently seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for the emergency department at UT Health Cedar Creek in Gun Barrel City, TX. Located just an hour from the urban amenities of Dallas, this area offers lakefront living at its best!

Position Profile:

• 13-bed, Freestanding ED facility
• 20,000 annual visits
• High Acuity
• 24 hour of physician coverage
• 10 hours of APP coverage
• EPIC EMR
• Must be BC/BE in EM (ABEM or AOBEM), IM or FP with ED experience
• Independent Contractor status

Designed to meet the needs of Northwestern Henderson County, UT Health Cedar Creek Lake is an outpatient facility offering a variety of healthcare services. Ther emergency department operates around the clock, seven days a week. An emergency physician is on duty at all times and is supported by advanced practice providers and nurses with specialized training. UT Health East Texas EMS and AIR 1 are available for transport, if needed.

UT Health Cedar Creek has equipped laboratory and imaging services are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for outpatient testing. There is an array of highly sophisticated imaging technology available, including:

• Open MRI
• 64-slice CT scanner
• Digital mammography
• X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Bone density scanner
• Echocardiogram

The UT Health East Texas system is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 50 physician clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 45 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including a Level I trauma center.
