Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an additional BE/BC Endocrinologist to join an existing practice. This is an employed opportunity is driven by community need and growth. The service area for endocrinology has been extended due to the lack of specialists in the region. Clinic hours are 8 to 5 Monday through Friday with an opportunity of seeing twenty patients per day. The clinic is outfitted with a procedure room for performing thyroid biopsies by ultrasound and staffed with Mid-level providers for support. Hospital call is primarily by phone. The established Hospitalist program may call the Endocrinologist for support but only rarely is a consult in the hospital required. As an employed practice you will have eClinicalWorks for EHR utilization. The new physician will also have an opportunity to act as a preceptor during rotations for Medical Students and our Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residents.
