Fairview Health Services is seeking an Endocrinology Physician to join a multispecialty practice at Fairview Clinics- Fridley and Wyoming locations. Provide services in the north metro region, joining one other Endocrinologist and a Nurse Practitioner currently providing services for the south metro region. The physician will see primarily consults with follow ups and insulin pump management being managed by nurse practitioners. 

Practice Details:

• Provide outpatient care
• Onsite services vary by practice site
• Strong built-in referral base
• We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
• Physicians work a 4-5 day work week with expectation of 36 patient contact hours per week.
• Patients requiring hospitalization are admitted to Maple Grove Hospital or Fairview Lakes Medical Center.
• Call Coverage: Home call- pager only. All calls answered first by triage nurses. No inpatient or ER consults.

Position Qualifications:

Graduate of an ACGME Endocrinology fellowship training program and Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
