In Denton, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking an experienced full-time Family Medicine Physician looking to grow into a Medical Director roll.
Job Overview:
- eClinicalWorks EHR system
- Call Coverage: Monthly Rotation
- Posses a strong community health/public health orientation
- Experience in patient care management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solver with demonstrated analytical skills
- Working knowledge of comprehensive health care issues
- Experience or education in HIV and/or infectious diseases preferred
- This role has the potential to evolve into a Medical Director / Chief Medical Officer position
- The Chief Medical Officer is the senior physician responsible practicing as a family physician and for the daily management of care within the Medical Centers in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer
- Work schedule primarily M- F day as well as rotating intermittent Saturday patient clinic schedule, and as patient access requires
- Looking for someone ready to see patients immediately and own the patient experience!
Qualifications:
- Board Certified
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Completion of approved post-graduate training
- Current unrestricted Texas Medical license
- Must have current DEA and DPS registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions
- At least 5 years post graduate years preferred
*Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required
