In Houston, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide high quality, evidence-based medical care in the discipline of general medicine by planning and carrying out medical care programs.
Job Overview:
- Works independently using his/her best professional judgment to provide and arrange for comprehensive medical services in an outpatient setting
- Examines patients using medical instruments and equipment, interprets laboratory and diagnostic studies and makes appropriate specialty referrals
- Performs outpatient procedures in accordance with our credentialing and privileging policy
- Provide consultation to other providers and medical staff in a team environment either in person or by telephone
- Assess patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic and inpatient care and make appropriate referrals for services

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy
- Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residence with minimum 2 years Family Medicine experience required
- Must have a valid license to practice in Texas and experience working in a high volume clinic environment
- Board certification in Family Medicine preferred
