Job Overview:
- Functions as a team member of a multi-function disciplinary health care team
- Responsible for provisions of comprehensive primary and preventive care including OB responsibilities which includes obstetric care, prenatal care, deliveries, post-partum care and OB related surgery
- Provide services for forty (40) hours per week
- Expected to produce the equivalent of 4,200 medical encounters per year, proportionately prorated (reduced) if physician is working less than 40 hours a week
- Cover for other physicians and treat the patients of those other physicians even when those patients are not enrolled in the health center as required for retention of hospital privileges
- Follow and abide by the ethics of the medical profession and all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to practice
- Provide supervision of mid-level providers
- Physician and Health Center Manager will develop a schedule of days that the Physician will be on site to provide patient care and supervision of mid-levels as appropriate

- Clinic uses EClinical Works EHR system
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine with OB or OBGYN
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Completion of approved post-graduate training
- Current unrestricted Texas Medical license
- Must have current DEA and DPS registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions
