Seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position in an innovative 12-12-12 combined MD/DO residency program. A number of state and regional agencies, including Providence Alaska Medical Center, have created this dually accredited residency program to help develop future family physicians who desire to serve in rural communities within Alaska. As faculty, you will have the opportunity to train future physicians with excellent on-site resources. Work with a great team of faculty members alongside motivated residents in the beautiful and welcoming city of Anchorage, located in the heart of Alaska’s scenic grandeur.
- Prior teaching/precepting experience preferred, but new graduates will also be considered
- Ideal candidate will have a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and other teaching sites
- Strong background or interest in academic primary care preferred
- Experience/interest in conducting and publishing research a plus
- Successful track record in leadership, particularly in organizing and building programs ideal
