Primary Care Opening in New Milford, Connecticut (85 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our New Milford Primary Care & Pediatrics practice at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, CT (85 miles from NYC and 14 miles north of Danbury). It is a highly regarded well-established practice with limited on call obligations. You will work with 5 Providers (3 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioner colleagues). We have a busy, established practice in a family-friendly location.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions, but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. This as a full-time, office-based position providing out-patient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
• Have successfully completed a Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Peds Residency.
• Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
• Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage

• Willingness to work variable schedule 8 hour shifts Monday and Wednesday through Friday between 8 AM – 5 PM and Tuesdays 8 AM – 7 PM
