Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc. (HCHC) is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our growing multi-site primary care practice. HCHC is a federally qualified community health center located in Western Massachusetts. For over 65 years, our mission has been to provide accessible, affordable services to ensure the health of all Hilltown residents, regardless of their ability to pay. Established in 1950, HCHC provides primary medical care, general dentistry, mental health, optometry, and community outreach in three different sites. HCHC currently employs three talented physicians and six experienced nurse practitioners, and operates two rural primary care clinics and one urban primary care clinic, along with a school-based health center in Western Massachusetts. Behavioral health and full dental services are offered at all sites; optometry care is also available in one location. A strong community services program provides a range of supportive programs, including community outreach workers. The position involves care of adults and children, in an office-based environment, but without OB responsibilities and no hospital responsibilities. On-call schedule shared amongst 10 providers. Ability to form collaborative relationships with nurse practitioners on staff a must. Occasional Saturday and holiday hours required. Working knowledge of rural services and needs a plus. EHR experience preferred. Spanish language skills are highly valued. Salary commensurates with experience with possible eligibility for state and federal educational loan repayment programs. Excellent benefits include 4 weeks’ vacation, paid sick leave, personal and holiday time, 2 weeks’ continuing education time with $2,000 for CE compensation costs, malpractice insurance, health and dental insurance, as well as payment of licensing renewal fees. The health centers are located in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. We are a 30 minute drive from Pittsfield, Northampton and Westfield as well as other towns in Pioneer Valley which is also home to the 5 college area of Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must have a Massachusetts medical license, and have Board Certification in Family Practice, InternalMedicine, Pediatrics, or double certification
•Expected to have a strong commitment to community health and care of underserved populations
•Must have attending privileges at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, which HCHC will assist in receiving
