Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its busy and growing medical practice. Grand Itasca is a fully integrated multi-specialty clinic and hospital located in Northern Minnesota. Grand Itasca completed construction of a new clinic and hospital facility that opened in December 2005.

Practice Opportunity 

Grand Itasca has 19 Family Medicine physicians, three Pediatricians, four Internal Medicine physicians, five Certified Nurse Practitioners, four Hospitalists and two Physician Assistants. We are looking to add to our team of Family Medicine physicians to respond to increased patient demand.

Scope of Practice 

The practice is General Family Medicine with a full time clinic practice. The Family Medicine call schedule is shared among all the members of the department. Family Medicine physicians normally work in the clinic four to four and one-half days each week. The practice includes the entire range of family medicine, but physicians have the ability to focus on area of interest if they choose. 

Position Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited ACGME Family Medicine residency training program and  Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
