Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician (Board Certified) provides for comprehensive medical services on a continuing basis to care for the health center's patients.
Duties:
- Provides for the acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care of health center's patients
- Provides hospitalization care of appropriately hospitalized health center patients
- Provides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis
- Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program...
- Assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan.
- Practices Evidence Base Medicine
- Uses electronic health record for documentation
- Completes and signs encounter note(s) within 24-48 hours
- Orders Lab test(s) in the electronic health record
- Reviews and signs/dates lab tests results daily both in electronic health record and printed results, when indicated
- Reviews and signs/dates radiology reports daily
- Follows recall policy for abnormal tests
- Uses electronic health record for prescribing medication via e prescribe and to document patient's medications
A successful candidate:
- Effective clinical and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Education: Board Certification as a Family Practitioner licensed to practice in the State of Missouri
- Other: Must have reliable transportation.
