Family Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE), board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Family Medicine Residency Spokane was established in 1972 as a flagship Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Home to the first OB Fellowship in the country and an ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship, the program educates 10 core residents and two rural-track residents a year in a state-of-the-art teaching health clinic. Physicians in this program collaborate strongly with the Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies in a patient-centered, medical-home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic. The sponsoring institutions are a consortium between Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation and Providence Health & Services. Duties would capitalize on your talent and passion in the following capacities:
• Direct and indirect supervisor and instruction of resident physicians in the STHC, hospital services and obstetrical services
• Abbreviated direct patient care, osteopathic manipulative therapy skills favored but not required
• Call while staffing the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical service
• Advising resident physicians
• Delivering didactic lectures, workshops and informal educational presentations
• Curricular and programmatic oversight
• A variety of administrative duties

Providence Family Medicine Residency Spokane is an ACGME-accredited, three-year program academically affiliated with both the University of Washington and Washington State University, where the faculty members hold appointments. This program collaborates with internal medicine and psychiatry residencies in a patient-centered medical home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic, and is among the first programs with a rural training track in the country.
