Responsibilities
Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia, have an opening for a Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage.
Provide timely and expert gastroenterology care during call coverage, ensuring patients feel supported and well-cared for.
Collaborate closely with hospital staff and referral networks in Richmond, VA, to deliver seamless care.
Quickly assess and manage acute gastrointestinal issues while maintaining a calm, friendly approach.
Document patient interactions comprehensively, keeping a clear, accessible record for future care.
Adapt to varied clinical settings with flexibility, ensuring consistent quality in each encounter.
Serve as a reliable resource for both patients and healthcare teams, fostering a warm and professional environment.
Opportunity Highlights:
Schedule: 24-hour weekend call, Friday 5p-Monday 7a
Multiple facilities
Patient Volume: 1 per day
GI emergency coverage
Required Procedures: ERCP
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
