Providence Digestive Health is seeking a transplant hepatologist to join their dedicated team in Spokane, WA. You will work in close collaboration with the Swedish Organ Transplant team based in Seattle, WA. We care for patients from a broad catchment area covering eastern Washington, northern Idaho, western Montana, and northwest Oregon. With respect to the transplant program, we play a pivotal role taking responsibility for evaluating new patient referrals, managing patients pre-transplant, and resuming care at 6-8 weeks post-transplant alongside the existing full-time transplant hepatologist. The clinic also provides general hepatology care and treatment for a wide range of liver-related diseases. The position offers a healthy work/life balance with a four-day work week comprising of a mix of general and transplant hepatology outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding service, and dedicated anesthesia time for endoscopic procedures. We have a robust, multidisciplinary group including general gastroenterology, advanced GI, hepatobiliary surgery, and interventional radiology to provide comprehensive care at our tertiary care center.

- Compensation is between $552,000 and $646,000 per year
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Call would be 1:3 and is 7:30-5:00 pm weekdays only. No night or weekend call.
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
