Full-time Gastroenterology/Hospitalist –Danbury Hospital– Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Western Connecticut Medical Group has as excellent opportunity for a full-time inpatient Gastroenterologist Hospitalist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established and busy practice with the opportunity for a faculty appointment. Position follows a Monday through Friday inpatient schedule with no nights or weekends. Role includes hospital consults, rounding, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team.  We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 150+ advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
