Full-time Gastroenterologist – Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established, busy, and growing practice, with 12 physicians and 9 advanced practitioners. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage, including our offices in Danbury and Milford. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. Full-time GI inpatient opportunity available for interested candidates.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team.  We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
