Ocala Health is assisting a local private practice in Ocala, Florida looking to add a motivated gastroenterologist to their team.

The incoming physician would join an experienced staff and 2 providers – a board certified gastroenterologist and nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner assists with seeing patients in the hospital as well.

The practice is housed in a large office space with room to add an additional provider. Procedures done at Ocala Health and Florida Hospital as well as Surgery Center.

New grads are welcome. No ERCP or EUS required – but available if interested. Board eligibility / board certification required.

Ocala Regional Medical Center is part of Ocala Health System, a 2-facility health system with 430 beds. Facilities have been consistently growing over the course of the last 5 years, having invested $210 M in capital improvements through 2018. Facility has another $60 M in construction underway to include expansion of ER, OR, and IP Bed Capacity at both facilities. Ocala Health is a high functioning Comprehensive Stroke and Level II Trauma Center, and is the only center in Marion, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties. The facility also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF.
