St. Joseph Healthcare, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist for its Hospital located @ 360 Broadway in Bangor, Maine.

• F/T opportunity to practice within a wide range of digestive disease diagnosis and treatment including liver & esophageal studies, ERCP, video capsule endoscopy and colonoscopy

• Role is 20% clinical (10 patients per day on average) and 80% procedural (12 cases per day on average); typical weekly schedule entails 1 day in office and 4 days in Endoscopy

• Limited call responsibility with admissions managed by Hospitalists

• Current updates to include new Olympus equipment for state-of-the-art Endoscopy Suite

• Candidates must be certified and licensed with the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine or able to obtain State of Maine Licensure
