MedStar Gastroenterology is seeking qualified gastroenterologists to join our Regional service line. MedStar Franklin Square is a community teaching hospital licensed for 350 beds, and with accredited residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Obstetrics-Gynecology. This Hospital, which opened its new patient tower with all private rooms in November of 2011, is located in Northeastern Baltimore County Maryland with a broad community as its service area. In July 2015 , MedStar Franklin Square opened the Center for Digestive Diseases – a multispecialty office space, adjacent to our newly renovated Endoscopy Center, and designed to encourage collaboration between overlapping specialties and to be a one stop location for full range of digestive diseases.
MedStar Health is the largest provider of health services in the Baltimore-Washington region with 10 member hospitals and numerous geographically-dispersed ambulatory services.
Candidates must have superior training, background and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in gastroenterology and hepatology, and preferably will have expertise in subspecialty areas. Call obligations are no more than 7 days a month including one weekend.
