University of Minnesota Health – Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to provide clinical services at a community based practice in Maple Grove.
Practice Details:
•Strong built-in referral base
•Provide outpatient care at the University of Minnesota Health Maple Grove campus.
•Small practice feel with access to University resources.
•Patients requiring hospitalization are admitted to the Hospitalist service at University of Minnesota Medical Center
•Participate in clinical and divisional meetings with the University of Minnesota Gastroenterology Division.
•Physicians work an expectation of 36 patient contact hours per week.
•Approximately 1.5 clinic days and 2.5 procedure days.
•We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
•Onsite support services include: Audiology, Diabetes Education, Diagnostic Imaging Services (Radiology, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, MRI, etc.), Laboratory Services, Medication Therapy Management, Nutrition Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and more.•Onsite specialties include: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Audiology, Cancer Care (Medical Oncology, Hematology, Radiation Oncology & Infusion) Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Otolaryngology (ENT), Podiatry, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Surgery (General, Dermatological, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive), Orthopedics, and Urology.
•Call Coverage: Partnership with division call pool. In-patient service rotation at University of Minnesota Medical Center, approximately 7-9 weeks annually.

Qualifications:
•Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency training program and Board Certified/Board Prepared in Gastroenterology through ABIM.
•Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
•Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
