Provide consultative and procedural care for a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions in a modern outpatient GI and endoscopy clinic alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Based in Elma, Washington, Summit Pacific is nationally recognized by the National Rural Health Association and the American Hospital Association for innovative rural care, including its Food as Medicine (Food Rx) Program. Position Details:
- Perform EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, esophageal manometry, pH
- studies, and related procedures
- Participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives related to procedural care
- 10-hour shifts four days a week, no weekends
- No call
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
- Support departmental and organizational initiatives aligned with Summit Pacific’s
- strategic priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary is between $606,000 and $620,000 per year

Qualifications & Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with successful completion of an accredited Gastroenterology
- fellowship
- Demonstrated current clinical competence within the past 24 months, supported by
- clinical activity logs
- Strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach to care
- Interest in practicing in a rural or community-focused healthcare setting
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Washington State medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current Federal DEA registration
- Current ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)

Summit Pacific’s Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Clinic provides comprehensive digestive care supported by advanced technology and experienced specialists. Services include colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, biopsies and treatment of liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease and complex gastrointestinal conditions. Integrated within the medical center, the outpatient clinic offers several GI procedures, close collaboration with inpatient teams and a patient-centered environment that supports high-quality specialty practice in a rural community setting.
