Job Description

Swedish, a part of the Providence health system, is seeking a full-time, well-trained Gastroenterologist with exceptional interpersonal, intellectual and endoscopic skills. Swedish Gastroenterology is a 20-physician, ten-midlevel-provider employed group with a growing consultative practice that combines tertiary and quaternary referral care, including liver transplantation, therapeutic ERCP/EUS, POEM and deep enteroscopy, with GI care for a large, well-established Primary Care network all in and around Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.   • Hospital call supported by nighttime nurse triage phone service
  • Hospital medicine and all major subspecialty support available
  • U.S. Medical Degree or foreign equivalent required
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency
  • Current Washington State Medical License
  • Completion 3-year Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • 4 years of experience as a Gastroenterologist working with patients to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders pertaining to the digestive tract and liver, including gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers, acid reflux disease, heartburn, hemorrhoids, hepatitis and hernias
  • Experience in Hepatology preferred
  • Experience with ERCP/EUS strongly preferred
